A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry. The designated curriculum covers essential CCIM skill sets including ethics, financial analysis, market analysis, decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. Candidates must complete a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience as well as successfully complete a comprehensive examination. CCIMs must show proficiency not only in theory, but also in practice in order to earn the prestigious CCIM designation. Only 5% of commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation. The CCIM designation reflects the caliber of the program as well as why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.
